The Colosseum built between 72 AD and 80 AD was the largest amphitheater ever built. Observe what remains and imagine the ferocious fights between man and beast as you stand in the elliptical arena. This is comprised of 4 levels and was once able to seat up to 73,000 spectators. 
Your ticket also includes entrance to Palatine Hill, which is a must-see sight for those visiting the Eternal City. According to ancient tradition, this is the spot where Rome was born. Experience the most ancient parts of Rome from the most significant of its Seven Hills. Look down at the ruins of temples in the Imperial Forum, the center for all political, social, and economic life in the city during the Roman Republic.

In this activity you shall visit The Vatican which is a city-state located in the heart of Rome. The Vatican City is world famous as the centre of the Roman Catholic Church. An independent city-state that covers just over 100 acres, The Vatican mints its own euros, prints its own stamps, issues passports and license plates, operates media outlets and has its own flag and anthem. You shall also go inside St. Peter's Basilica, and buy a ticket for climbing the dome (optional, at additional cost), or just admire St. Peter's Square.
If you wish, you may also visit the Vatican Museum (tickets to be purchased additionally at site). The museum is famous for The Sistine Chapel with its ceiling painted by Michelangelo.
